Pete has spent thousands of dollars and months studying, in order to maintain and service the ever changing sophistication of cars. This of course as above mentioned involves software and the ultimate aim is to have gold under your bonnet and a smile on your face, all the while achieving economy with petrol.
Pete’s a Car Whisperer
Because of Pete’s fantastic background in car and motorbike racing he has taken various specialty cars that he owns to local schools to give kids the thrill of their lives.
Having built a number of hotrods has given a number of our elders Australia wide (depending on where Pete and Linda are) some lovely memories. Always happy to talk Pete has embraced the community with some of his tasty vehicles.
Pete and his fully licensed mechanics extraordinaire, all with specialties under their belts including electricals, exhaust, body modifications, dyno tuning, computer chips, software including Kalmaker, HP VCM Tuning. Not forgetting gear boxes, rebuilds, registrations, services.
Linda – Recognition from community with Linda’s baby, the introduction of ‘Mechanics for Ladies’ providing a service that is ‘lady’ friendly. Linda observed that over the years there was a niche in the market for women drivers where they deserve to be served intelligently and promptly. Women who are the glue in families tend to be the one’s that are and have been getting hubby’s as well as her own yearly registrations, services and a myriad of other issues directly connected to their beloved vehicles. The increase in ladies who are driving souped up 4 cylinders to V6’s, V8’s, is marked so a particular service has been created. Linda who has an impressive background in marketing, advertising and self-employment, it had been brought to her attention that women dreaded going to the mechanics with keywords being, feeling ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘intimidated’.
Steve and Terry have been working with Pete for many years and that is testament to how well these three talented men work together, 6 days a week, 12 months a year.
Steve has shown amazing talent in not only his mechanical wizardry but in electricals. Steve is a real asset to PKW Performance Centre and the community at large as if there is a solution to be found, Steve will find it.
Terry an accomplished mechanic with one of his specialties being body modifications. With the amount of hot rods and rebuilds that occur in this shop, his talents are appreciated. Enough cannot be said to express the talent these two men have in their chosen fields.
